- Narelle O'Callaghan Added August 21, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Nice flat free camp. A bit dusty but bearable. Toilets and under cover areas right on the river where heaps of red claw were caught. Short drive into town or a bike/walking track, away from the main road. Wonderful bakery in town with supermarket, Schmidt and other variety stores close by. Town water available just near the servo on Kite Street. Caravan parking in same spot.
- phyllis davies Added August 19, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★Reasonably quiet. Good to stop, call out for a few days. Top up with groceries. Did a river walk.( beautiful ). Did some site seeing. Always amazed at what the outback has to offer.

Reverse the van up to the tree line for afternoon shade and grab a picinic spot on the lush grass by the river to enjoy the cool breeze. Run through the grass and watch the grasshoppers fly and grab your camera for sunset.
The roosters crow right through the night and the local boys enjoy riding their dirt bikes up and down every afternoon. Its close to town and safe enough to leave your van. - Jayden Anderson Added July 31, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Plenty of room. Very busy spot . Good for animals great track beside river to let them off . Toilets but no showers . pretty hard to find wood so bring own if wanting fire.
